”Through the cervix”, an installation and performance for Cedar Lake Dance Theatre
In May 2011, Orlando Palacios collaborated with other amazing talents, creators and artists, for Cedar Lake Dance Theatre. The show was an interactive exploration of the human body and human relationships with flesh as an ongoing theme. Orlando brilliantly constructed a “passage”, made of gauze, leading the audience from one performance space to another. From a black wall of geometric projections, which acts as their vertical stage, then back to the ground on slanted and raised platforms, with latex and mirrors, the experience became a communal journey for everyone within the space!
